decadentdream: (Leaving)
WOO FINALLY!!! Man this was some work and a half, and it's not like completely flawless but I did the best that I could do with what I have whilst learning a few things along the way. Minor frustration was creeping in last night but things have worked out a lot better today. Hope you guys like it.

Everything in this video is in the story (okay maybe not 100% visually but it gives you the jist of it). Visuals & audio compiled from Charmed, Chuck, Ressurection Blvd, Latter Days, Invasion, 24 & In Justice. Song used is Hoobastank's "Crawling in the Dark" (which I miraculously mixed to make the song longer).

So we all know how much I ♥ Marisol Nichols and look up to her and treasure the fact that she featured enough in my life to make a huge personal impact on me, and merely 2 days ago I was stressing about how I could help her. Well, guess what? I found a way.

Not sure how many of you know about the hovering status of Marisol's current show In Justice (depending on how much of my ranting you read) but it is being threatened with cancellation. Only 13 episodes of the show were ordered (which have all been screened) and no decision has been made up til this point on the show's status - whether they're going to be given a second season. Despite the actors jumping to other projects (I have also heard that in a recent interview Kyle MacLachlan was speaking of the show in the past tense) this program is still "on the bubble". Although the ABC Network has a slew of other programs in the line to start up (2 of which star Jason O'Mara & Constance Zimmer from the show), they are not making any final decisions regarding their current programs until Mid May. This means there is still time to save In Justice (and thereby keep Marisol employed and on our screens - providing endless inspiration for me and ongoing love for everything I do... I don't know how this effects you LOL, but it is important to me).

E!Online is launching their 5th annual SOS campaign to back support behind saving ONE show. In Justice is in the list. For the full details go here. Basically we have one week, until April 28th to get as many people as we can to send an email to with In Justice in the subject line. That's all that needs to be done, it'll take 5 seconds. And thankfully it's something people worldwide (like me) CAN do to help save this show.

So if you want to help me help Marisol, please send that one small email in the next week, and if your friends can do it also it would be a great help. Thanks again. Sorry for the pleading LOL I am just super passionate about supporting people I truly believe in (and most of you out there know it cause I do the same for you ;) *hugglies*)

"The Boob Tube, The Silver Screen, & You" questions from [ profile] thefridayfive

1) When you were little what was your favorite TV show?
Probably Young Talent Time. Hey, it featured young kids singing the latest music hits - of course I was addicted!

2) What was your favorite movie?
Um I think it was actually Labyrinth

3) What is your favorite TV show currently?
I like to give all my shows equal love. But atm I'm still listing Charmed until it dies (ie. in about two months). The runnerup to take it's place is Supernatural

4) What is the best movie you have seen so far this year?
Oh dammit don't ask me that after my frequency in the past fortnight!!! And I'm supposed to be seeing one today :( Um um... okay I'll go with Aeon Flux cause that really impressed me.

5) If someone was going to make a movie or TV show about your life, who would play you and why?
Charlize Theron!! LOL ok she's a little old to play me... but she's had both blonde & dark hair like me. Well same goes for Sarah Michelle Gellar... You know I would LOVE to have Marisol Nichols play me but we don't look very much alike. It'd probably have to be someone relatively unknown who can play someone kind and friendly but at the same time snap into someone with dark thoughts and a swiping temper (yeah, I know Marisol can do that... shame about the heritage).

"Lights, Camera, Action!" questions from [ profile] thefridayfive

1) If you were to star in a movie, who would you want to be cast as your love interest?
haha well this requries some thought considering there's not just one guy I'm overly obsessed over... well, at least not really for me LOL Um... ok well I can't say Drew Fuller cause I think he'd intimidate me, I'd say Wes Ramsey cause I'm sure I'd get along with him better, although I'd rather he played Marisol Nichols' love interest (see how unselfish I am LOL) and, erm... maybe Nick Steele?

2) What genre of movie would you most like to star in?
Well I have two favourite genres. I won't say horror cause I can't scream well (hell I can barely even speak loud enough for people to hear). I do think, however, fantasy would be nice.

3) What song would you insist be on the soundtrack?
I think I'd have to insist upon "Wait" - Sarah McLachlan just cause I ♥ that song.

4) What would you wear to the premiere of your movie?
Something with a corest type top and probably flary at the bottom.

5) Who would you thank in your Oscar acceptance speech?
I would thank all the friends that supported me, the musketeers, my agent and co-stars cause without them this movie would just not have worked (do I sound official yet? *snicker*), ah the directors and writers, the academy, and all my fans cause they help me strive to do better.

Because I’m so obsessional over the pairing of Wyatt & Bianca, I decided to write up a little background post which will basically give those reading an idea of who they are. Because they are featured so little on Charmed I thought it might be helpful to lay everything out in a short little summary. This is only a compilation of the information that was featured on the show; I do and have tended to flesh out the characters in my stories. If you’re at all interested in reading - have a snoop around my journal or travel over to, get comfortable, and settle in for some minor entertainment.

Played by Wes Ramsey

With a prophecy that proclaimed him the “twice blessed child”, Wyatt Halliwell was born into the world at a time when all magic stopped. The son of one of the most powerful witches to have ever existed and a whitelighter (who are like guardian angels for witches and future whitelighters), Wyatt received a mix of both their powers, making him one of the most powerful beings on earth. Even before his birth the forces of evil wanted to claim this prestigious entity for themselves, all with views to use and abuse his powers. With various members of his family successfully blocking this act for extended periods of time (short term was not so fortunate), including his own younger brother who travelled back in time for a year and a half to protect him, Wyatt avoided being duly corrupted to the dark side. He does, however, have his own inner demons to fight. A sensitive man, he regularly blames himself for anything that goes wrong, and generally finds himself at fault when it is his family that suffers, disappears, or dies. He’s loving, intelligent and bears a wicked sense of humour. He’s also wielder to the sword Excalibur which became his after his mother’s involvement in her own King Arthur style adventure whilst he was still young. It was put away until he was fully grown and since the time he has acquired it he’s found it to be his favourite piece of weaponry.

Played by Marisol Nichols

Born into a family of assassin witches known as the Phoenix (called so because of their “Rise from Salem’s ashes” which has allowed them the ability to reconstitute/reform), Bianca was forced into their lifestyle from an early age, constantly straining to live up to the family’s expectations. She quickly learned that her mother had been lying to her about the job’s criteria, finding that although it didn’t hurt too much physically, mentally and emotionally the strain of killing people impacted greatly on her. Fighting for survival by doing the only thing she knows best, her life was eventually turned around deterring her from the need to kill indifferently. Favouring the direct approach, you’ll often find her fighting hands on or with her favoured weapon – the athame. Sexy, playful, and bearing all kinds of smarts, Bianca is an independent woman who, although often appearing aloof, is actually quite caring about those she loves and will sacrifice everything for them.

Bianca was actually the fiancé of Wyatt’s younger brother, Chris, on Charmed. She is only seen during the episode Chris-Crossed, but in those few moments she spent with Wyatt it is apparent that something was going on between them. It is this that spawned the idea of Wyatt & Bianca being together as, since they are both conflicted souls, they appear to be much more suited to each other.

Sorry, okay, trying to watch CSI while I'm doing this. Plus write my fanfic. I'm one very busy girl (Aren't I always? hehe)

So I suceeded in getting that 8 hour sleep I was aiming for last night. Came back late from watching Hide & Seek at the movies with my brother (where he duely informed me he'd split up with his girlfriend again... seriously, am I always the last to know? I used to be his greatest confidante. Weird.) So, anyway, the movie was good, although if u actually put any thought into it u might get a headache from working out how the hell it was even possible. I mean, to me there were timing improbabilities in it. And also adding various elemants to the film to distract u from what was going on, but then not tying those storylines up - bad bad bad writing *shakes head* Although the rest was good. I can say I guessed it probably about 5 mins b4 they revealed it. Oh commercial for House of Flying Daggers *claps* I so wanna see that. Still trying to convince my brother to come with me. I want to go next weekend.

So, let's see, what should I talk about in my first quizless update? Um... well this morning I was freaking out so much about this picnic & tennis thing I was supposed to be going on that I almost made myself sick. Extreme nausea (cause I very rarely vomit). Sorry, that probably sounded disgusting. But I had Ellen trying to calm me down, and then Zarina. And they actually helped quite a bit. I came up with another headache question for my fic. Surprisingly enough Mel actually provided me with a few answers tonight that really do make sense, and surely I shall be incorporating those into my fic. But yes, I know, I'm over-analysing Chris-Crossed again, and I know I'm very VERY far off the point of writing that at the moment, but as I've said b4 my imagination goes tra-la-la down that path where it ends up being WAY ahead of where it should be. I keep having to rope it in, tell it to store whatever it's coming up with away somewhere in that filing cabinet in my head, and to focus on what I'm supposed to be doing now. Which is writing for children. Which is not easy considering I'm not around them, and haven't been one in about 20 years. I couldn't even remember a rhyme properly - I had to google it. Yes, you can laugh, I had to. It's really a sad case when u can't remember things u learnt as a child. Thankfully someone had posted it on the net, so I was able to proceed. And still my total for this update is a little under 3 pages. I'm not doing so well this weekend. I stopped cause I need to rewrite a fairytale now (can I help if I like the Disney version better? LOL) so that's gonna take a bit of time and effort. But, yay, I have heaps of time on my hands b4 Cold Case tomorrow night. More Marisol *happy dance* Can't wait.

So reason I didn't have much time on my hands, that afore-mentioned picnic that I was so worried about. It didn't turn out too bad. There was mass hassling of me not playing because, well, I discovered why my arm was sore just b4 I went to bed last night - that super duper tennis match I played on Friday night. And today I realised the exact stupid move I pulled to actually injure it how I did. So mum calls it tennis elbow, but frankly I just know it as the "screaming with pain" muscle in my arm. *sigh* So those 5 hours were funny, and I was quiet, but eventually I was being more myself, and even gave my friend a free hug (see, net buddies ARE a good influence on me ;) ). And since I was deemed time master, we actually got away relatively unscathed, which I'm so happy about. And got home in plenty of time for Charmed. Nick Lachey *bleh* we so need to lose him. He's getting worse each week. But I love my little Halliwell family - Wyatt looking so disapprovingly at his father, and orbing his mummy around. So cute, so wonderful, that child is a brilliant actor and I just want to hug him! Holly & Brian were great too. I can never get enough of Piper & Leo - and I loved him blaming Chris for the demon hunting. So would have loved to see Drew give a comeback to that (as big Chris of course). They really shouldn't have gotten rid of him. *sighs again* I watched CSI too tonight. Love Greg. He rocks. Definately the original CSI is the best, I like all the characters (Except maybe Sara, she grates on the nerves sometimes).

Um so I go to bed in half an hour. Where's that tiredness I had b4 when I got home? I was almost falling asleep at the keyboard waiting for Charmed to start. Oh well. Busy work day tomorrow, looking forward to it? So not. But, I dunno, maybe the day will go quick and I'll be super speedy and finish my update tomorrow. *shrug* I'd love to be able to write that fast, but things just don't generate that quickly sometimes.
