This vid and everything around it has caused me no amount of anguish. But through all the blood, sweat and tears I think it's turned out really well. The basis of it was provided by alenah who wanted me to show the change between Peter at the start of the series and what he has become now. So, hon, this one's for you *hugz* Consider it an early birthday present. ;) And I also gotta thank canadian_turtle who was asking me about this song months ago before I even heard it - it sunk its hooks into me straight away and refused to let go until I provided a Peter vid for it (amusing, non-the-less, that despite this "appearing" to be New York, it was actually filmed in downtown LA as the lyrics say).

I noticed the difference between Milo and Adrian Pasdar during this. Both guys are great people to vid, but where Adrian uses a lot of subtlety and you can read the emotion from his facial expressions, Milo incorporates his whole body into a deeply involving body-language type illustration. Very different acting styles but very complimentary. True, this makes Adrian easier to vid than Milo, but it also makes for some fantastic footage once you incorporate some meaning to a scene. In that respect this is pretty action-packed and enjoyable.

Summary: Peter dreams of being someone great, and upon absorbing the abilities of others and awakening those powers he finds he's not only endangering his own life but those of others around him. This video shows the transition of Peter as simply a dreamer, to someone who can master his own abilities & learn to help those around him.

On a personal note - this may be the last vid I do for a while as I'm ambitiously planning to take on a huge Heroes vid-related project. This is not to say said project will be completed as I have to work out the fundamentals of things first and I may not be able to do it, but if I do I sincerely hope it will be something that everyone can enjoy *hugz*

Yes it's that time again. I couldn't help but do up a vid for Isaac Mendez, my poor little tortured artist. This is one of two I had on the burner, and depending on who made the most appearances first determined which got attended to first. Isaac won. Mind you I was thrown into a state of utter confusion after seeing Ep 16 because I had searched so hard for a song to fit him, and suddenly I wasn't sure if I'd made the right choice. Nevertheless my hectic real life led to such a delay that even more footage shown in Ep 18 helped me dig my heels in and stick to the choice.

This video is about a tortured young artist by the name of Isaac Mendez. Through his life he has struggled with his own inner demons and it has had adverse affects on his relationships. He sees a light of redemption in his prophetic paintings, a way of making up for past mistakes by preventing the chaotic future he depicts. His drug dependency worsens as he searches for answers, and he finds himself suddenly caught up in a web of lies and deceit where he no longer knows who to trust. He can't trust anyone, not even himself. And so he lies to the people he loves, who in turn also lie to him, and through all the good he tries to do tragedy soon befalls him.

*sings* Tis the season to be jolly... fa la la la la, la la la la...

Even though this isn't technically a christmas song, it sounds christmasy to me with all the choral "ba ba ba" in it. Anyway, it's a nice reflection on the spiritualism that comes with that culture.

This video is a reflection on the Heroes character of Mohinder Suresh showing the relationship he has with his parents and co-workers, the quest to discover if his father's theories on enhanced genetics are true, and the assistance he receives from Eden and Sanjog (the little boy). Basically it sums up Mohinder's storyline.

You can tell I'm obsessed about a fandom if I become a die-hard vid fanatic about it. Since I've gotten the new program now that actually works *cheer* I had to jump straight in and do something. I don't have all the Supernatural eppies available to me, but because of my Zach-RPGing I did have most of the Heroes ones. I ended up with all of them last night by the time I was halfway through and so I managed to get everything I could into this one vid. Anyways, enjoy. I've embedded the Youtube vid (hopefully it works). If anyone would like me to upload it so they can download it from somewhere, please comment with that request and I'll put it up somewhere for you...
