The point about not going by the list is quite good. If he went by the map it would makes sense for him not to know who exactly in Odessa had abilities...but he must have seen something 'wrong' with Jackie to go after her and not Claire? I distinctly rememeber going "NOOOO" when I saw Nathan on the map,.
If sylar's ill because he's taking out all the 'bad' stuff and Peter has a brish with Sylar and through his abilities somehow gets ill too hmmmm
