List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LJ along with your seven songs. Then tag some other people to see what they're listening to.

And for your convenience, I've uploaded them as well (A)

1. "Running" - Evermore
This has some cool lyric. To me it's like the concious line between fantasy and reality, and it kind of hits home with the way my brain works. Oh and need I mention it's a rocking band from New Zealand who I'm forever gonna associate with The OC (cause of their first hit being over-used on the ads) and um yeah they're cool, and the film clip to this was done in different parts all over the world. :)

2. "Black Fingernails, Red Wine" - Eskimo Joe
OMG I can't believe people are only discovering these guys! My brother and I stumbled across them at Tibetan Freedom music festival (which was poorly advertised might I add) and we LOVED the songs, and they had awesome stage presence, and despite the guitar strap snapping Stu stood on one leg and played out the rest of the song. Now THAT is tenacity. And they're so far along in their career now, always changing. They've hooked onto a new-INXS kind of rock thing with this, and it's the highest charting single in Australia they've ever had. Not sure why LOL but it's good people are recognising them now. I haven't actually got the new album, but this song is all over the radio at the moment. Not bad for 3 boys from WA.

3. "Ordinary World" - Duran Duran
Yeah I'm reloving this song, playing it over and over. I've always loved this song. It kind of fills my heart in a weird way. And when I discovered what it was really all about on Duran Duran's latest DVD (Live in Wembley) it made me cry. :( Simon is so good with his lyrics.

4. "Stay With You" - Goo Goo Dolls
Probably my favourite band ever. I didn't know whether I'd like the new album, but turns out I LOVE it, and this song keeps getting stuck in my head. A lot of the songs like this one kind of point out to me the feeling of standing on a united front, yet the Goo's still appeal to that sense of feeling alone.

5. "Born to Lead" - Hoobastank
Ahhh awesome clip :) And the song rocks too, nice rocky number with a military edge. It's a bit of a "Get f**ked!" song LOL

6. "Fire Sign" - David Berkeley
Um if I'm not already depressed listening to this song, it tends to make me. It presses my sad button. It was featured on Without A Trace and, yeah, it's beautiful and tragic and just makes me cry yet I won't stop playing it over and over.

7. "We're Coming Home" - Rogue Traders
Solely blaming Australian Big Brother for this one. They had the band play in the house and then kept playing this song along to the eviction numbers and it so fit and, yeah, considering my BB obsession of late (*cough* Jamie to win! *cough* Such a sweet guy) I thought I should put this one up too.

Oh yeah and I tag whoever hasn't done this yet! :) Now I better get to bed, it's past bedtime :$
